EU Digital Covid Certificate (EUDCC)
3AHealth has teamed up with the eHealth Lab of the University of Cyprus to develop the EU Digital COVID Certificate (EUDCC) family of services for the country of Cyprus. The EUDCC initiative is coordinated by the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy (DMRID), under the auspices of the Ministry of Health (MOH). KIOS CoE, NCR, and the Cyprus Telecommunication Authority (CYTA) comprise the technological vendors that materialize this nationwide initiative for the island of Cyprus.
The EUDCC portal (https://www.eudcc.gov.cy/) aims at facilitating the safe and free movement during the COVID-19 pandemic at both a domestic and EU levels via the issuance of accredited EUDCC certificates.
The CovPass mobile app acts like a wallet app where citizens can securely store their EUDCC certificates while the CovScan mobile app allows citizens to validate the authenticity and validity of an EUDCC certificate. With more than 7.5 million issued certificates and over 250k active app users, 3AHealth continues to be in the forefront of the fight against the pandemic.
